The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) held a press conference this morning discussing alleged leaked images showing apparent alien life on Mars captured by the Mars rover Curiosity.

“NASA is thrilled to announce that the Curiosity rover captured a truly extraordinary image on Mars. This serious development upends all understanding of space travel. We are confident that Snoopy flew to Mars using his red doghouse, and he is not a native of the red planet,” NASA Administrator Bill Borg said.

The NASA announcement drew skeptics.

“Why make an announcement after the images are leaked? What is NASA hiding?” Conspiracy theorist Mike Tazoritz said.

Snoopy’s close friend, Mr. Charlie Brown, said the conspiracies are blown out of proportion. “Good grief. Snoopy simply wanted to bring Thanksgiving cheer to his Martian friend. Curiosity and him go way back.” Snoopy made a 12-course Thanksgiving meal for his friend, the Curiosity rover.

It is no surprise that Snoopy made the brave voyage to Mars and arrived in good spirits. As many recall, Snoopy joined the astronauts on the Apollo 11 flight, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, to the Moon. Since the 1960s, Snoopy has been an icon associated with space travel.
